Meopta Artemis 2100 3-12x50 illuminated Riflescope Description:

Meopta Artemis 2100 3-12x50 Riflescope

The 2100 series offers an illuminated center dot for hunting in low light conditions.  The illumination of the centre dot under normal daylight conditions is observable only when set on intensity level 6 or 7, so that no matter how small the target is, it will not be overwhelmed or lost in the brightness of the dot when illuminated.
The brightness levels can be adjusted with the knob on the left side of the elevation turret in seven steps marked 1-7 (with 7 being the brightest).
The interpositions marked with a dot, provides an interim off position between each intensity level, allowing for quick, single click on and off operation.  The service life of the original battery a CR2354, is roughly 80 hours.  It is also possible to use a more readily available battery, the CR2032, which has a service life of about 60 hours.
The 2000 series has a solid steel body tube construction to maximize durability and shock resistance.  Designed with the serious user in mind, these scopes offer superior edge to edge image clarity, maximum light transmission and are guaranteed to be fogproof and waterproof.
  • Unique internal mechanism design ensures precise adjustment and optical alignment.
  • Multi coatings of all air to glass surfaces for superior edge to edge clarity and light transmission.
  • Nitrogen purged and sealed body for guaranteed fog and waterproof performance.
  • Precise internal quadratic windage and elevation adjustment ensures that zero spherical deviation will occur throughout the full range of adjustment.

Customer comments

I was sitting in the highest chair we have on the estate which stands 16" to the base where you sit, so after about an hour my colleague takes a shot at a nice fallow buck, so we agree to get down to find the target etc.  on the way down I dropped the rifle and it landed scope first onto the 5th stepfrom the ground, the impact pushed the scope back about 1 inch in the rings and when I saw the marks I had only one thing in mind, MY MEOPTA IS DOOMED on lifting the rifle from its folorn place on the floor and shouldering it I was more than surprised, the scope and its optics were intact, so back to the truck for some Allen keys and reset the scope, 3 shots to re zero and we were fine, proof in the pudding was to take a shot, shot taken at 7.14 and a nice buck was had, the aim of this short story is to say a big thank you for your help in the last few days, but a bigger thanks to MEOPTA for a scope that has an outstanding build, quality optics and of course the best thing of all, THE PRICE.  Meopta scopes more than just value for your money, GO GET ONE.   Samuel Roberts.
